NOV 28: NORTHWESTERN TEAM AMONG 2 FINALISTS FOR $300 MILLION NASA MISSION

One of just two finalists, STAR-x, a space mission proposed to the agency’s Explorer program that includes three Northwestern University astrophysicists, has been selected as one of two finalists to launch a research facility into space in 2028. As a finalist, STAR-X received $3 million to fund a nine-month-long detailed exploration of the proposed issue.
